Setting just next door to nice restaurants at the port, and restaurants. Nice welcome from host.

Super cool large room in a beautifully restored old house, plants and flowers were an extra treat. Wi-fi and bathroom fittings worked perfectly. Bed was large and comfortable. Private parking available right outside. Ribadeo is a lovely town with good value restaurants, coastal walks, and convenient bus/train connections.
Room was austere with no television or facilities for preparing drinks. Limited storage space for clothes and suitcases.

We had a pleasant stay at El Galeon in Ribadeo. the room was spacious with a private entrance and parking. the shower and WiFi were excellent. the owner, José-Mari, was incredibly friendly and even offered to be our taxi. the location is convenient, situated directly on the Camino Norte and close to restaurants and supermarkets. a beautiful and comfortable guesthouse with a helpful host. Cons: Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like 😊.

The room at El Galeon was amazing! It had a private entrance, which made me feel like I had my own little apartment. The tile/marble floor gave it a touch of elegance, and the sofa was super comfy.
Personally, I didn't like that some units had a balcony. But hey, that's just me.

The hotel had a beautiful view of the city from my room, and I actually managed to connect to the free WiFi without any issues. On top of that, I even found a spot in the free private parking! Lucky me!
Oh, what a shame there's nothing negative I can say about this place! How disappointing.

This place is absolutely amazing! The owner was super friendly and helpful, getting us tickets to Playa de las Catedrales right away. Parking was easy and well explained. The room was beautiful, with wide spaces, lots of light, and a very comfortable bed. Walking distance to great restaurants. Best value for money ever!

The room at El Galeon was amazing! It had a private entrance and a cozy seating area where we could relax and unwind. We loved the tiled floor and the beautiful patio, perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning. The room also had a flat-screen TV, which was a nice touch for some evening entertainment. The private bathroom was well-maintained and came with complimentary toiletries, making us feel pampered during our stay.
Personally, we didn't find the balcony in our unit very appealing, but it's subjective and others might enjoy it.

The room at El Galeon was absolutely charming and cozy, with a private entrance that made it feel like my own little hideaway. I loved the beautiful tile/marble floor, it added a touch of elegance to the space. The double room had a lovely patio where I enjoyed my morning coffee, providing a peaceful and relaxing spot to start the day. The seating area in the room was perfect for lounging around and reading a book, making it feel like a home away from home. Having a private bathroom with free toiletries was a nice touch, making me feel pampered during my stay. The flat-screen TV was a great addition, allowing me to unwind and catch up on my favorite shows after a day of exploring. The balcony in some units was a delightful bonus, providing breathtaking views of the surroundings.
Personally, I found the sofa in the room to be a bit uncomfortable, but others might find it cozy.

I had a fantastic stay here! The accommodation was beautiful and extremely comfortable. The room had wide spaces and plenty of natural light from the large windows. The bed was cozy and the bathroom was spacious, with a nice bathtub and shower. The hotel is in a great location, just a couple of blocks away from the main plaza and many nice restaurants at the port. It's also in the heart of the town and right on the Camino Norte, which was perfect for me as a hiker. The owner was super friendly and helpful, even helping me get tickets for Playa de las Catedrales. Parking behind the hotel was easy to access and well-explained beforehand.
No negatives.

I stayed at El Galeon for two nights during my Camino Norte hike. The guesthouse is perfectly located on a quiet street, just a short walk from restaurants and supermarkets. José-Mari, the host, was incredibly friendly and helpful, even offering to be our personal taxi. The accommodation itself was beautiful, with a comfortable bed, spacious room, and spotlessly clean facilities. Highly recommended!
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.
